The Community Police Department in Abu Dhabi, represented in the department of social relations and guidance, called the public to maintain public property in a seminar co-organized by the Western Region Municipality Department at Al Sila’ city.
The seminar was attended by Eng. Muzna Salem Al Mansouri, Acting Director of Region Planning and population and Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Al-Kholi, head of the Region’s Planning Department.
The community police partook in the symposium with a lecture delivered by Captain Ahmed Gharib Al Mansouri, Acting head of social relations and guidance, during which he defined public property and harms resulting from causing damage to public property. He also addressed ways to treat the phenomenon which has been rejected by the UAE society.
Al Mansouri underscored the importance of awareness to maintain public facilities of the State. He also urged to preserve public funds by committing oneself to moral obligation, enjoying a great deal of religious deterrence and being fully understanding of the role that should be sought by individuals to ensure their country is developing in various economic and social domains.
Burhan Ahmed, preacher at the Social Relations and Guidance section in the department of community police said, the teachings of Islam urge to maintain public property, indicating the best method to preserve the private property, and calling for the need not to destroy public property.
At the end of the seminar, the community police and the western region municipality exchanged commemorative shields.
