Community Police participate in Super Cars Championship
The Community Police branch at Khalifa Police Station participated in the Australian Super Cars Championship held in Yass Island Track during the period from 19 to 20 February 2010.
The participation was part of ADP keenness to participate in all activities contributing to the increase of security sense of different community segments, said Lt. Colonel Abdul Noor Al Shuhi, Director of Khalifa Police Station.
The participation included introduction of the Community Police, advices, distribution of publications and competitions in policing information, in order to highlight police role in the community.
Community Police activities also focused on security, traffic and social awareness aspects, enhancement of communication with the public. The Community Police participation was highly appreciated by the public. The championship attracted great turnout where around 10,000 people of different nationalities and age groups attended the event.
