Civil defence delivers awareness programs on fire fighting and first aids
 

The General Command of Civil Defence organized a number of awareness programs on fire fighting and first aids. The lectures were delivered by Adel Dawood Abdul Rahman, a lecturer at the Urban Protection Department, and attended by directors of departments, officers and civilian staff members from different departments of the Ministry of Interior.

These lectures are intended for spreading culture of awareness on areas of public safety and fire accidents prevention. They are organized in coordination with the Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior’s Court and Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior.

The lecturer defined the types and causes of fires and explained the methods of preventing them whether they occur in houses, shops or workplaces. He shed light on the instructions to be followed in case of fire to ensure safety.

He made demonstrations on using portable extinguishers at homes and workplaces if a fire occurs.

At the end of the lecture, the lecturer answered all the queries raised by the audience.
