A delegation from the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate General of Civil Defense, recently visited the INTERSCHUTZ Exhibition where they reviewed the latest equipment, devices, and techniques used by international civil defense services. The INTERSCHUTZ Exhibition is held every five years in Hannover, Germany.

The delegation was headed by Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Fire Prevention and Safety Affairs, and included Brigadier General Hilal Eidha Al Mazroui, Director General of Resources and Support Services in the Civil Defense Headquarters.

Brigadier Al Nuaimi highlighted the keenness of the Ministry to participate in international forums in order to review the best international practices used in the field of civil defense; and to exchange experiences and knowledge with the various participants of the exhibition.

The INTERSCHUTZ Exhibition is one of the world’s most significant exhibitions in the world specialized in firefighting and attracts major manufacturers specialized in civil defense machinery and equipment.

A large number of specialists and experts in the field of security and safety participated in the exhibition and showcased their expertise. Participants additionally featured their latest scientific and engineering innovations and developments involved in the designing and adoption of schemes, security equipment and systems, and safety facilities.
