Be prepared about Meteorological reports on phet Cyclone – Sheikh Saif
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has ordered mobilization of the Emirates Search and Rescue Team to Al Fujairah Emirate as precautionary measure to confront phet Cyclone if its effect reaches the country.
National Center of Meteorology and Seismology has expected that the country will be partially affected by the Tropical Feat Cyclone.
Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Nasseeb Al Nuaimi, acting Director of Emergency and Public Safety at ADP said “The Rescue Team which consists of 57 persons has been provided with all ambulance, rescue and rapid reaction equipment. A joint operations room is also provided and coordination with the Directorate General of Fujairah Police and relevant authorities is established as well”.
Colonel Al Nuaimi considers the reports of the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology are reassuring and that there is nothing to afraid of. The measures which have been taken so far for the public safety are adequate. He urges the people not to start rumors to avoid exaggeration of the cyclone risks.
