Deputy - Commander General of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Staff Obeid Al Hiri Al Kutbi headed the Abu Dhabi Police delegation and partook on Tuesday in the inauguration ceremony of the 17th MILIPOL Exhibition for security and safety in Paris, France.
The accompanying delegation comprised Director of Central Operations, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi and a number of police officers.
The exhibition was inaugurated by France inister of interior, Claude Gueant with participation of a number of interior ministers, senior military leaders and official delegations.
Over 800 international companies specialized in manufacturing up-to-date equipment related to security and safety technologies are also taking part in the event.
Al Kutbi and the accompanying delegation toured the international pavilions where he inspected the latest technologies of internal state security showcased there.
He met with Chief of French Police Pierre Alan, and assistant of French interior minister, and discussed with them ways of enhancing cooperation in security and police related fields between the two sides.
Al Kutbi invited them to attend the fifth edition of the International Security and National Resilience Conference and Exhibition (ISNR) to be held in Abu Dhabi between 19-13 March, 2012.
