The Al Ain Police Directorate, represented by the Public Relations Department, took part in a number of various events organized by the Al Ain Municipality, on the occasion of the UAE 41st National Day. The events, held in cooperation and coordination with a number of departments, governmental and community institutions, took place at the Hili Fun City in Al Ain.
The ceremonies included an exhibition of old photographs representing His Highness, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the Union. The exhibition included 25 old photographs, showcasing the historical stages of the State of the Union’s progress.
The Public Relations Department police officers, in charge of spreading security and community awareness, held cultural security and national competitions. They also organized a police exhibition and a number of awareness activities to spread security awareness among revelers. The exhibition witnessed a significant turnout from families, who received UAE flags, gifts and commemorative prizes emblazoned with sentences of congratulations, loyalty and patriotism.
The Al Ain Emergency and Public Safety Department of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations Directorate General also participated in the events, through a pavilion held at the Hili Fun City Park for three days.
For their part, the Ambulance crews gave a brief theoretical and practical presentation, showcasing first-aid skills. They also acquainted the audience with the ambulance and its contents, as well as the mobile field hospital. Ambulance crew members also provided first aid assistance to people with minor injuries at the park.
