Al Ain Community policing discusses deserted houses with its partners
Major Mubarak Saif Al Saboosi, Director of Al Jimmy Comprehensive Police Station of Al Ain Police Directorate, discussed the methods of enhancing cooperation and explaining the concept of community policing during the meeting held at Al Jimmy Police Station.
The meeting focused on the deserted houses phenomena. Their spread may open the possibility of using them as dens of thieves and illegal infiltrators and assists in spread of pests, rodents, diseases and endangering the lives of their neighbors. In addition visitors and tourists may get bad impression of the city.
Major Al Saboosi, said;" We are keen to implement the directive of Police Organization leadership in respect of communication with the partners in all matters that enhance and boost cooperation, especially in facing negative phenomena within the local community". The present agreed a number of suggestions of which formation of a joint working team to contact legal and municipal authorities to close the entrance of these deserted houses.
The meeting was attended by the Community Policing, CID, Security Information Officers and a number of external partners in Al Ain.
