Lt Colonel Mubarak bin Meheroum, Director of Community Police has honored the employees of Training Branch at the department for their sincere efforts in defining the training requirement for the year 2012 in a record time. He affirmed keenness to implement the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in upgrading staff members’ level of performance and motivating them to achieve constant quality and excellence.
Using the electronic training system and in a record time, the Training Branch has managed to introduce 152 employees out of 156 within the training budget of 2012, said bin Meheroum.
Honoring included Lieutenant Ali Al Rashedi, Saeed Al Ameri, and Bakheeta Al Mazrouei.
Bin Meheroum praised their distinguished efforts and urged them to continue their hard work to set a good example for their colleagues in the different police departments and sections.
The aim of the Community Police is to provide an alternative for the traditional policing system and to create secure neighborhoods. By engaging citizens in crime prevention, the Community Police spreads social awareness and brings policemen and civilians together in a shared goal to preserve a high level of social conduct and self-responsibility.
