Abu Dhabi Traffic Department discusses training
cooperation with Singapore Police

 

The ADP Traffic and Patrols Department held a meeting chaired by Colonel Khamis Ishaq Mohammad, Deputy Director of the Department, with a visiting delegation from the Singaporean Police Force, on Tuesday. They discussed during the meeting cooperation in training fields and exchange of expertise ia all traffic areas so as to activate the MoU signed between ADP GHQ and the Singaporean Police, stipulating exchange of information and cooperation in all policing and security fields.

The visiting delegation reviewed organizational structure of the Department, traffic accidents documentation and analysis systems, main causes of accidents, ADP traffic safety strategy and efforts made to reduce deaths and severe injuries.

The meeting was attended by Directors of Departments, Heads of Sections at the Traffic and patrols Department. From the Singaporean side: Colonel Ojustine Cheu Deputy Commissioner of Singaporean Police and Head of the delegation, Director of International cooperation, Director of Roads and Director of Transport and Roads at the Singaporean Police Force.

The Singaporean delegation will continue its visit to the Department during the period from 7 – 11 June to acquaint themselves with the technologies un use, types of vehicles and mechanisms of awareness campaigns organization.
