Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Armed Forces and Abu Dhabi Education Council, took part in the Al Bayariq exhibition held by Al-Chahama College for Girls within the Al Bayariq military education program implemented by Al Shaheen Company to Grade 12 students in 13 different colleges in Abu Dhabi.
Al Bayariq military education program is the first program dealing with military education, police sciences and life skills. The exhibition which registered a significant turnout from the college’s students included handicrafts and inventions by the students themselves. The exhibition also included a military show presented by the Al-Chahama college students on dismantling and assembling weapons.
Souad Al-Houssni, Director of Al-Chahama College for Girls stated: "The exhibition is the end result of the knowledge acquired by the students who participated in Al Bayariq program for 2 years since its launching. These students have acquired life skills and trained on responsibility and teamwork.
Al-Houssni praised the values and objectives that Abu Dhabi Police seeks to instill in our children in order to raise the level of social culture, to promote trust between community members and the police force, as well as to develop the spirit of participation and responsibility among community members.
Mohamed Muhairi, Regional Director of Al Shaheen Company in Abu Dhabi said that Al Bayariq military education program embodies the vision of the higher leadership aimed at providing our nation's children with the best capacities and competencies that enable them to address successfully the current era's requirements, to face its challenges with confidence and determination, and contribute to the nation’s success in the process. He added that Al Bayariq program provides the participants with discipline, tolerance and perseverance and consolidates the concept of teamwork.
