Social Support Centers Department of Abu Dhabi Police organized an awareness campaign for a group of female trainees from the Higher Technology College in Abu Dhabi. The workshop was managed by 1st Lt. Hanan Al Raisi, from the Society Affairs Section.
The workshop which was held at the Department’s premise, has addressed the importance of social work, and the ways of performing the role of trainees in the society when they work in this field or other voluntary activities.
On the other hand, Brig. Najm Abdullah Al Hosani, the Department’s Director, emphasized the keenness of his Department to achieve its target – “a society free of crimes, stable family, and safe individual”, through lectures, symposia, and awareness workshops on different educational and social issues, in addition to the other methods such as exchange of visits with various bodies and taking part in the local and international conferences, exhibitions and festivals.
Al Hosani clarified that these lectures come within the framework of the Department’s endeavors to fulfill its message which aims at enhancing the police culture in the society, and supporting the interests of students, and sharpen their skills.
