The Director-General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, Major. Gen Khalil Dawood Badran, honored quality and excellence team at Transport and Workshops Department, in recognition for their efforts because of which the Department obtained the ISO “2008:9001”.
Brig. Salem Al Shamesi, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services, was present at the ceremony.
Badran emphasized that honoring would add responsibility on the honored to preserve excellence and success. He called on them to set a good example for their colleagues in various departments.
He appreciated the efforts of the quality team to achieve such a striking success, which could not have been achieved without executing the directives of our police leaders who urge us for more excellence in all fields of administrative and police work.
Major General Badran handed over certificates of appreciation to the honored officers who were: Lt. Col. Bakhit Ali Al Khwar, Chief of Support Services Section, and Cap. Ali Hamad Al Ameri, Chief of Maintenance Section, 1st Lt. Khalifa Hilal Al Kaabi, Head of Transport Branch, 1st Lt. Sultan Abdullah Ba Wazeer, Department’s representative for quality, 1st Lt. Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al Mualla, Head of Reserve Power Branch, Lt. Abdullah Qassem Abdullah, Head of Fuel Branch. Honoring also included non-commissioned officers, managerial staff and civilians who are also members of the quality team.
At the end of the honoring ceremony, Lt. Col Ahmed Al Shebli extended thanks to the Director-General of Finance and Services and handed over ISO certificate to him.
