Abu Dhabi Police affirmed its keenness on social responsibility, in a workshop lately organized by the Community Police Department of Abu Dhabi Police at the Police Officers Club in Abu Dhabi, entitled "The social responsibility of the institution."
Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Qadir, a researcher at the Research Centre and Security Studies (RCSS) has delivered a lecture at the workshop where he referred to the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police and its interest in strengthening its partnerships with the community and gaining its confidence.
He added that the police agencies are part of the government institutions whose work is directly related to the community, making its social responsibility towards the community an integral part of its core business.
the aim of organizing the workshop is to increase awareness of the culture of social responsibility, he said, pointing out that the importance of the responsibility of community policing has doubled after the application the strategy of police that made the community a key partner in achieving its objectives, bearing in mind that the police social responsibility expands to cover all the needs of the community.
