The Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Security and Ports Affairs Department, checked the ongoing preparations at Al Ghuwaifat Border point on Tuesday. The border is being readied to receive pilgrims travelling by road heading towards the Holy Land.
Brigadier Dr. Saif Bou Dhfeera Al Ameri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police, discussed in his meeting with internal and external partners of the border point, the suggestions of developing the current standards to cope with the Abu Dhabi Police strategy.
Brigadier Al Ameri toured Al Ghuwaifat exit to check on the preparations of all plans and available services in the different sectors of the exit. He also closely reviewed procedures of some of the passengers.
The Director General of Security and Ports Affairs in Abu Dhabi Police praised the efforts made by partners, government and civil sectors and customs, to provide the best services to pilgrims. He urged team work in carrying out tasks and enhancing strategies to enable police personnel to carry out their security, social and human missions without flaw.
During his tour, Brigadier Al Ameri was accompanied by Brigadier Omeir Al Muhairi, Deputy Director General of Police Operations and a number of officers.
