Abu Dhabi Police celebrates the 47th anniversary of Police Music Band
ADP GHQ will celebrate after tomorrow evening (Thursday) the 47th anniversary of ADP Music Band. The band will present a number of military and heritage pieces of music as follows:
Marina mall in Abu Dhabi – Thursday and Friday (1 and 2 July)
Khaldiyah Mall – Sunday (July, 4)
Al Ain Mall – Monday (July, 5)
City Mall, Western region – Tuesday (July,6)
Captain Ibrahim Abdul Rahim Ismaeel Al Hosani, Head of Music Section at the Police Schools Department said “The Police Music Band is one of the oldest bands in the region. It is the first music band in Abu Dhabi. It was established in 1963 with only 50 players. Now it has 130 distinguished players”.
1st Lt. Abdul Mutalib Al Hamadi, Director of campaigns Branch at the Security media department has affirmed the Music Band keenness to participate in all occasions and events to entertain audience, nationals and residents.
The Department of security Media is keen to keep up with all events organized by ADP GHQ, in order to remain close to the public, through its diversified activities.
