Abu Dhabi Police TETRA Association Congress – Middle East
Information Technology and Communications Department at Abu Dhabi Police participated on Tuesday morning in the TETRA Association Congress – Middle East, currently held at the Sheraton Corniche in Abu Dhabi.
“Participation of Abu Dhabi Police in this event was intended to get acquainted with the latest developments in the world of TETRA, and to exchange and develop expertise, bearing in mind that Abu Dhabi Police is a bigger user and provider of TETRA across the region”, said Captain, Mohammed Al Khanbashi, head of Communications Section at Abu Dhabi Police.
Abu Dhabi Police participated with a presentation in which it reviewed the role of TETRA in activating the role and evolution of police, besides the difficulties that have faced the police before and during the activation of the TETRA.
“Two years ago and in an important step, Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has provided other institutions, such as hospitals, airports and oil companies, with TETRA network”, continued Al Khanbashi.
