Abu Dhabi Police Schools
receive 1090 new Men and women recruits
ADP Department of Police Schools received yesterday, Monday at Suwaihan Area 1090 new recruits (Men and women) as batch 78 men recruits and batch 31 women recruits. The training would continue for 20 weeks.
The trainees will receive a number of training programmes in policing sciences, law and practical lessons in accordance with advanced modern police standards. Break down of trainees is: 1000 men new recruits and 90 women new recruits.
Colonel Waleed Salim Al Shamsi, Director of Police Schools Department at ADP Directorate General of Human Resources said "Acceptance of new recruits is part of continuous keenness to provide different police departments with qualified elements so as to deliver best services and maintains the country security and stability".
He urged the new recruits to abide by the rules and regulations, military discipline, high levels of behavior and to work hard for better results, in response to ADP GHQ strategic vision.
The event was attended by Colonel Waleed Salim Al Shamsi, Lt. Colonel Salim Nassib Al Shamsi, Head of Trainees Affairs Section, Major Issam Abdullah Al Ali Head of Women Police Training and Qualification Section and a number of Heads of Sections, Directors of Branches and Officers.
