A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) participated yesterday in the Seventh GCC Public Relations Forum, held in the Sofitel Zallaq Beach Resort, under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The delegation included Major Suhail Al Khaili, Director of Protocol and Hospitality in the Clubs Department; First Lt. Said Hamad Al Hussani, Protocol Branch Manager; and Ahmad Al Dahmani, Main Media Interviewer, Assistant Manager of Communications at the Security Media Department in the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s Office.
Major Suhail Al Khaili stressed the forum’s importance with respect to exchanging expertise and keeping abreast of developments that contribute to promoting and enhancing the provided services. He pointed out that the Abu Dhabi Police participated in viewing many work experiences through a specialized workshop held in the forum’s first event, titled: “The Expected and the Unexpected in Events Management.”
The second workshop titled, “Media Crisis” focused on viewing the Abu Dhabi Police’s experiences, through the participation of Ahmad Al Dahmani, Main Media Interviewer in the Security Media Department. This workshop defined police efforts along with highlighting its commitment to coordinate and communicate with media representatives positively and effectively.
Major Al Khaili expressed his gratitude to Dr. Fahd Ibrahim Al Shahabi, the Bahrain Chairman of the Public Relations Society and Secretary General of the forum, for calling on the Abu Dhabi Police to participate, which achieved aspirations through presenting many useful topics.
