The Decision-Making Support Center at the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police organized a lecture under the slogan “Your Thoughts are Your Lifestyle”. The lecture, held at the Police Officers Club, was delivered by Major Ali Mohammed Al Baloushi from the Police College.
At the beginning of his lecture, which was attended by a number of officers and staff from the various Abu Dhabi Police departments, Dr. Al Baloushi extended his deepest congratulations on the occasion of UAE 41st National Day to the higher leadership and the people of UAE; asking Allah the Almighty to bless the country with the further security, stability and prosperity.
Moreover, Al Baloushi highlighed the balance in life in all areas, and the positive relations with others; noting that positive thinking, optimism and trust help individuals achieve their objectives. He added that some people see the joy in life, while others regard life as a journey filled with misery and pain.
He stressed that the faith, self-confidence and capabilities are vital to achieve goals and aspirations; adding that the pessimism and lack of self-esteem ruin one’s life.
Moreover, he explained that the UAE people are impregnated with characteristics of the Union founder, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, namely; his firm belief in achieving the aspirations for his homeland, so that we can now enjoy the fruits of his dreams.
It is noteworthy that Major Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Baloushi gave a presentation showcasing the skills to overcome negative thinking, notably enhancing self-confidence; the art of dealing with problems, dimensions and focus.
Concluding, the lecturer answered the audience’s questions and inquiries.
