Abu Dhabi Police and the Gulf Center for Aviation Studies, affiliate of Abu Dhabi Airports Company ADAC, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation and coordination between the two sides to develop human resources specialized in aviation security and safety.

Colonel Khamis Musabbah Al Marar, acting director general of Security and ports affairs of Abu Dhabi Police and Dr. Othman Mohammed Al Khouri, director general of the center signed the MoU at the Center’s premises.

The MoU aims to enhance performance in the fields of civil aviation sector security and safety, said Al Marar, adding that two parties shall organize training programs in many fields including airports security and civil aviation security, cargo and public safety, emergency response and planning.
 
 The MoU shall also include training programs in customer services operations and customer satisfaction.

Signing the MoU emphasizes the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police in enhancing effective  communication and constructive cooperation with all the sectors of civil society, stressed Al Marar.

For his part, Dr. Othman said the agreement features good cooperation and coordination between Abu Dhabi Police and the Gulf Center for Aviation Studies.

He affirmed the endeavor of the Center to provide the highest level of comfort, security and safety for customers and travelers, in areas of civil aviation and airports sector.

He praised Abu Dhabi Police for its efforts to support aspects of cooperation with all sectors, thereby achieving the fines services in accordance with the best advanced standards.
