The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate honored the winners of the 3rd Minister of Interior’s Award 2014 for the “Director General” category. The honored staff included 20 distinguished participants including 9 winners and 11 candidates.
Colonel Juma Salim Al Dahmani, Assistant Director General of Civil Defense, hailed the efforts of the participants and the winners in promoting the participation of their directorates for the award. He also hailed the evaluation team of the General Directorate and the organizing administrators that helped with the success of this event.
He pointed that Civil Defense General Directorate adopted a method to achieve excellence by applying outstanding performance standards for the services it provides for the public, which led to help and support achieving strategic goals.
He congratulated the winners and urged them to more giving and excellence, wishing them good luck in the next stage of the competitions of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Awards, “The Leader’s Award.” He invited them to double the efforts to participate in the award, and represent the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate honorably. Colonel Al Dahmani, then handed over certificates to the honored members.
Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al Zaabi, Head of Strategy and Performance Department at the General Directorate of Civil Defense, gave a speech in the beginning of the ceremony. He explained that the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award confirms the keenness of the police leadership to improve skills and elevate the efficiency of the human element that brings excellence, creativity and innovation, and achieves leading positions.
