Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, represented by the Decision Making Support Center, signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. RAND Corporation for Research, at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two sides in conducting studies in research fields and conducting policy analysis related to relevant topics, to assist in decision-making and formulating policies.
The memorandum was signed by Colonel Muhammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dahiri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, on behalf of the ministry of Interior, and by Doctor Hanin Salem, Director of RAND office in Abu Dhabi.
According to the agreement, future cooperation will be enhanced in the field of research studies and policy analysis. Education and training programs will be also provided in the same field, as well as reviewing and evaluating programs, and other fields according to the needs of the Decision Making Support Center.
The agreement also focuses on providing researchers and analysts to work in research projects and policy analysis, as well as offers in the fields related to the Center’s work, in addition to participating in conferences, seminars and other activities. It will provide working papers and assist in identifying and selecting speakers, subjects and partners in conferences, and other related topics.
The signing ceremony was attended by Colonel Aziz Hammoud Al Amiri, Director of Strategy Management and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Seraidi, Director of Quality Department; Major Sleiman Mohammed Al Kaabi, Deputy Director of Decision Making Support Center; Fatima Larry, Head of Researches Support Department at the center, and Dina Malaab, Administrative Coordinator at the RAND Corporation for Research.
