An officer of the Abu Dhabi Police received the Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award, in the “Rising Stars” category at the awards ceremony recently held at The Address Hotel – Dubai Mall. The Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award 2013 event was organized by Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU).
Captain Rashid Abdulla Al Dossari, Chief of the Organization Excellence Secretariat Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, received the award from Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor, HBMeU.
Captain Al Dossari expressed his joy for receiving this acknowledgement of his success, which is a result of the leadership’s support of innovation; the leadership is encouraging Abu Dhabi Police personnel to excel in order to build the capacity of human resources.
The Abu Dhabi Police previously received the Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award in 2012 in two categories: “accomplished leaders” and “women leaders,” and the Kano Medal: Excellence Catalyst 2012.
The Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award was established in honor of Dr. Armand Val Feigenbaum, who is known as the "Father of Total Quality Control." It honors men and women in the Arab World for their ideal leadership in managing their institutions, their service to businesses and society, their distinguished ways of spreading the quality culture, and for being role models for others. The “Rising Stars” category celebrates the success of all those who enjoy promising capacities while facing large challenges. Furthermore, the Kano Medal focuses on encouraging managers and quality department and section heads in institutions worldwide to commit to quality and excellence standards in order to optimize institutional performance.
