Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s pavilion at the “Tawdheef Recruitment Annual Show 2013” attracted a large number of female students and graduates. It is noteworthy that this jobs’ fair was hosted by Zayed University at its Abu Dhabi campus, with the participation of 68 local institutions, entities and businesses.
Ali Rashid Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council, member of Zayed University Council; and Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Director of the University, jointly inaugurated the show, which gathered 68 local institutions, entities and businesses.
Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Selection and Recruitment Department of the Directorate General of Human Resources, distributed booklets to the female students at its pavilion, to acquaint them with police work. Students also received commemorative gifts.
Al Ketbi lauded the efforts of Abu Dhabi Police to attract male and female graduates, by providing them with training and qualification programs, in accordance with the highest academic standards, to ensure their success prospects. He also pointed out that Abu Dhabi Police is one of the strategic partners for Higher Education institutions in the Country.
At the end of his tour at the Abu Dhabi Police Pavilion, Ali Rashid Al Ketbi received a commemorative shield from Captain Mohammed Saeed Al Junaibi from Abu Dhabi Attraction Office at the Selection and Recruitment Department. .
For his part, Al Junaibi underscored the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to participate in various career fairs held across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to attract Emirati graduates and promote Emiratization and employment efforts.
“Abu Dhabi Police’s pavilion attracted a large number of Zayed University female students. They were briefed on police work characteristics and prospects. For their parts, the female students expressed their appreciation for the Abu Dhabi Police strategy to attract graduates, and its significant attention to national cadres”, concluded Al Junaibi.
