ADP Air Wing organizes a training course for pilots to qualify them as trainers
The Air Wing Training Section at Abu Dhabi Police organizes a training course for pilot trainers to qualify a number of its pilots as trainers at Abu Dhabi Section of the Air Wing. The course will continue for three weeks. The programme consists of theoretical studies and ten sorties for each pilot.
The course also includes land studies, where the instructor teaches the trainees how to give information to the Air Wing students during training process. The trainer will accompany the trainees during sorties and give them practical training on board. He also trains them on rescue operations in addition to other duties to assist the pilot.
At the advanced levels he trains them how to face breakdowns of rescue gear and how to handle them. At the last stage of the programme the trainees will be trained on how to assist the pilot to land his aircraft on rough terrain.
