The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ adopted the first edition of the work directory for the overall police stations. This step comes in line with major importance attached to strategic planning and performance management, considered as an essential part of the development process.

On this occasion, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior stated: “Comprehensive Police Stations play a vital role in meeting the needs of the public in their areas of jurisdiction. They achieve effective communication with the various community segments, and implement procedures and actions to prevent and curb crime, as per the Ministry of Interior’s strategy”.

Moreover, he indicated that the Comprehensive Police Stations aim to achieve security and maintain stability of society; within the framework of justice, integrity and the rule of law.

“This directory introduces the concept of Comprehensive Police Stations and serves as a guide for all staff, so they can accurately carry out their tasks, free from erroneous interpretations. This leads to excellence in performance and achieves the desired aspirations,” he added.

 He pointed out that the directory identifies the work mechanisms of the Comprehensive Police Stations and ways to activate them, as well as the means to locate them. This is based on the importance of activating the statistics and security information branches in police stations, and their role in promoting work processes, identifying job description of the Comprehensive Police Stations. The directory also gives a detailed definition of the organizational structure and jurisdictions of the Comprehensive Police Stations, as well as the required mechanisms to activate them.

The ceremony was attended Colonel Muhammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dahiri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General; at the Ministry of Interior; Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; and by a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
