Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police decorated 93 officers of at the Directorate General of Central Operations with new ranks.
Promotions included 26 police officers who have been promoted to the rank of captain, 17 to the rank of lieutenant, and 50 officers to the rank of lieutenant.
Promoted officers represent the departments of operations, information technology and communications, vehicles and drivers licensing, emergency and public safety, as well as the Department of the Air Wing and the Geographic Information Systems Security Center.
Al Raisi congratulated the officers, praising their efforts in discharging their duties, stressing that the promotion is reflecting how much attention the senior leadership pays to its people; and in recognition of their continuous to enhance our security; and maintain our national gains.
He conveyed to them the greetings of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
He said that this promotion is recognition and an incentive for the promoted officers, urging them to show more excellence and diligence in work.
Decoration ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammed Maeoff Al Kutbi, Director of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing of the Abu Dhabi Police.
