Ports Security Institute at the Ports and Airports Security Department of Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 9 batches of trainees with the participation of 104 personnel from Abu Dhabi Police, Presidential Flight and Airports Customs. The participants included a number of personnel from Yemen Republic.
Colonel Khamis Musabah Al Marar, Director of Ports and Airports Security Department in Abu Dhabi Police, said: “the Police leadership is keen to support the training process in order to elevate the efficiency level, achieve quality of work, maintain theoretical and practical review of the latest scientific and security theories related to inspection, security, and providing services that reflect the civilized aspect of Abu Dhabi Police and its achievements in these fields.”
He added: “the Institute always seeks to develop its human and technical potentials in order to become a high-level scientific and training institution. The courses organized at the Institute receive a number of participants from Arab countries, reflecting the level of development reached by Abu Dhabi Police.”
Colonel Al Murar congratulated the graduates, and encouraged them to exert more efforts and seek to develop their personal and technical abilities. He then presented them with the graduation certificates, wishing them all the best of luck.
For his part, Colonel Abdullah Hattab, Director of the Institute stressed the importance of the training process in elevating the level of work and quality of performance in order to achieve the goals of Abu Dhabi Police, in providing high level security services and achieve the highest level of satisfaction regarding the services provided.
Hattab noted said that modern knowledge is an area of focus of training courses, as well as encouraging self motivation among trainees, and consolidate the components of building professional character.
Concluding, Lt. Colonel Naima Salem Awwad, Director of Training at the Institute pointed out that participants received various training and lectures in the various fields of police and security work.
