Major Mohsen Saeed Al Mansouri, Head of the Al Ain Traffic Department said that the awareness programs organized so far have been leveraged by about 15,047 people, and included exhibitions and lectures delivered in educational, governmental and private institutions. Major Al Mansouri emphasized the attention given by the Al Ain Traffic Department to enhance communication with various institutions and community components, through a social communication approach implemented in coordination with Al Ain Traffic Institute.
Lieutenant Hamdan Hassan bin Dheban, Acting Branch Manager of Public Relations, Al Ain Traffic and Patrols said that this achievement has been made through implementing an integrated plan, by which the traffic awareness team prepared awareness programs that focused on the causes of traffic accidents, the victims and the severe injuries they leave, and the efforts exerted to prevent traffic accidents.
Lieutenant bin Dheban added that various methods of raising awareness were utilized to suit all the categories targeted. Awareness films, illustrative programs, lectures, and educational patrols were presented within an integrated scheme for awareness that leveraged interactive tools to maximize involvement and understanding from audiences in order to enhance traffic safety.
