Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports honored a total of 61 officers, non-commissioned officers, civilians and female employees working at the Naturalization, Residency & Ports and holding PhDs and Masters Degrees, at the headquarters of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.

Major General Nasser Al Awadh said, in a speech on this occasion, that honoring comes to encourage and appreciate high degrees holders for their outstanding performance and keenness to raise their personal capabilities.

He urged all police personnel to seek knowledge and make more efforts to improve themselves, because learning is an incentive to  promote the values of integrity, honesty and respect for human rights, stressing the attention of the senior leadership towards those holding higher degrees, and supporting  their aspirations to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments that enhance the effectiveness of police apparatus with the community; in order to preserve security and stability.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Major General Al Menhali distributed certificates of appreciation and gifts to the honorees

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Mohammad Ghurair Al Rumaithi, General Coordinator of the Naturalization, Residency & Ports, and Brigadier Gharib Al Hosani Director General of Ports and Airports, Brigadier Obeid Mohair, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and the Directors-General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs across the UAE, and a number of officers from the General Department of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of Dubai.
