In a ceremony held by the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General represented by the Quality Department, 55 officers and non-commissioned officers received the Certified Internal Auditor qualification for the quality system. The ceremony took place in the Ministry of Interior's Lecture Hall.
Attending the ceremony, Colonel Muhammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dahiri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, highlighted the ministry’s commitment to enhancing development and achievement in different fields. He further noted that such improvement is vital for police work with respect to the dependence of all other sectors and their need for high-level security.
He added: “When establishing work teams, the Ministry of Interior seeks outstanding leadership that can lead these teams and ensure the transference of expertise and interaction between members.
This knowledge exchange and interaction promotes high quality and distinguished performance.” Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Seraidi, Head of Quality Department, explained that the ceremony is held with respect to the Ministry of Interior’s qualification to receive the ISO certificate 9001:2008 phase 5, and phase 3 for the naturalization, residency and ports sector. He has also noted that the courses are considered as one of the tools to ensure workflow according to transparent systems that enhance developmental efforts achieving the ministry’s strategic goals.
Moreover, Lieutenant Colonel Al Seraidi urged graduates to continue researching and collecting information, in addition to developing their skills.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Dalmouj Al Dahiri distributed certificates to the graduates ensuring them that they are on the road to excellence.
