The Police Academy celebrated on Thursday morning the graduation of 4 batches that underwent specialized courses namely: “strategic Management”, “Supervision and Follow Up Development”, “Training Activities Planning and Follow up-Second Course”, and “Work Innovation and Creativity Development.” The courses were held at the Officers’ Training Institute, and were attended by 39 officers from different departments at the Ministry of Interior (MOI).
The ceremony held at “Al Ittihad” Hall was attended by H.E. Colonel Saif Al Al Kutobi, Police Academy Director; Major Abdullah Saeed Sebaa, Acting Director of the Institute; Departments’ Directors; and Heads of Divisions at the Police Academy and the Officers Training Institute.
The courses aim at developing the skills of participants in the field of strategic management in governmental and police departments, develop their capabilities and knowledge related to supervision principles required for the effective development of performance, and provide the officers with administrative, technical and behavioral skills in order to enable them assume supervision posts and master their leadership skills.
The courses aim at developing the skills of the participants in modern scientific methods used in the planning and follow up of training activities, developing their knowledge about individual and collaborative skills of innovation and creativity in a working environment in order to transfer the ideas to plans and executive work plans.
During the week of training, participants attended theoretical and practical lectures, collaborative discussions, role playing, brain storming, small scissions, and displays of enriching videos that are derived from real stories.
