Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif Director General of Criminal Security at the Ministry of Interior, attended the graduation ceremony of four specialized courses namely; the first basics  course for non-commissioned officers and individuals, the second course on “Precursor Chemicals”, the fourth course on “Operating TETRA devices”, and the sixth course on “The Sense of Belonging and Loyalty at Work”. The graduation ceremony was held at the Federal Police School, with the participation of 184 members from the various directorates and departments of the Ministry of Interior.

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajeri, Federal Police School Director, along with a number of School’s officers.

In his address on this occasion, Major General bin Suwaif underscored the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to develop and qualify its human cadres, through organizing various training courses, in order to achieve a safer society.

“The Ministry of Interior is keen to train its staff members, both within the Country and abroad. This reflects a clear vision to implement the Ministry’s strategy in the area of training and qualification being the main pillars for the police force to achieve its goals and objectives. Moreover, the police competencies at the Ministry of Interior, which underwent extensive training, rehabilitation and follow-up, are the pride of our nation”, pointed out Major General Bin Suwaif.

For his part, Major Faisal Hamad Al Maquami, Acting Head of the Students Affairs Department at the Federal Police School, noted that the School is committed to ongoing training for its members.  The training of a police officer doesn’t end when he graduates, but continues throughout his tenure, so as to keep abreast of all developments and further improve his skills and knowledge.

At the end of the ceremony, Major General Khamis Saif Bin Suwaif, accompanied by Brigadier General Ahmed Abdullah Al Hajeri, Director of the Federal Police School distributed prizes to the courses’ top achievers and certificates to the graduates.
