17 ADP Officers trained on handling emergencies
The Department of Emergency and Public Safety at ADP organized the graduation of Emergency Incidents Trainees. The course was organized at Rotana Park Hotel in Abu Dhabi, with three instructors from US National Security Department.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Al Nuaimi; Deputy Director of Emergency and Public safety Department congratulated the graduates and urged them to implement what they had studied.
The training comprised issues including Incidents and Disasters Management, Planning before and during the incident, handling dead bodies, Victims Families Support and Assistance etc. A practical exercise on the famous Catharina Disaster was made, in addition to other practical training such as the best methods to handle emergency situations.
The event was attended by Gary Price, Liaison Officer of the FBI, Major Saleh Al Amoodi, Director of External Training Branch at the Department of Training. At the end of the ceremony certificates and trophies were given away to the graduates.
