14 trainees from “Special tasks” receive training
in prison evacuation in Al Ain
The Special Tasks Section of ADP GHQ Special Tasks Department in Al Ain celebrated the graduation of its trainees from “Evacuation of Prisons in cases of Emergency and Disasters Course”, on Thursday. The course was organized by Strategy and Performance Development Office at the Department. The one-week course continued from 4 to 8 June 2010. 14 officers and personnel from different ADP Departments and Sections attended the course.
Lecture of the course were delivered by Major General Iyhab Mohammad Farah, Training Expert. He affirmed the importance of gaining advanced skills in evacuation and rescue operations, fire fighting and rescue of patients and injured people by the trainees.
The course included ensuring the safety of buildings and establishment before and after disaster, identification of financial and human losses and taking necessary measures for evacuation by identifying exits in each building.
At the end of the ceremony, Captain Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman Al Ahbabi, Director of Support Services Branch at the Section gave away certificates to the graduates. Captain Mohammad Abdullah Al Mahrami, O/C of VIP Protection Company and a number of the Section officers were present during the ceremony.
