10 trainers trained for explosives search by police dogs
Security Inspection Department (K9) of ADP General Directorate of Security and Ports Affairs celebrated the graduation of 10 trainers who participated in a training course “Search for explosives by police dogs”, on Thursday. 10 trainers of the Section participated in the training course which was organized in collaboration with the French Police.
Major Saeed Al Katheeri, Head of Veterinary Services Section at the Department said in his speech to the graduates “ADP and its leadership is keen to provide all means that promote security performance. The course programme included theoretical training about the search for explosives. Trainees also received training on modern methods of inspection in buildings, stadium terrace, airports and buses”
A documentary depicting the procedure of practical training was shown during the ceremony. The event was attended by a number of officers and Colonel Rafael George, the Regional Police Attaché at the French embassy.
Major Al Katheeri the French Police Attaché gave away certificate to the graduates and mementos to the French Instructors.
