The Capital Police Directorate reviewed the strategy and mechanism of the Abu Dhabi Crime Prevention Council in the first meeting of the Council, which was held at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of members of the Council, which includes representatives of government agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Brigadier Ali Maktoum Ali Al Shareefi, Director of the Capital Police, said that the council was activated as materialization of the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police in boosting local partnerships to serve the community and customers, and to support and enhance prevention efforts in the community.

 For his part, Colonel Rashid Al Mismari, Deputy Director of the Capital Police; who presided over the meeting, stressed the importance of cooperation between government departments, and benefiting from their expertise and specialized studies, thanking the participants for answering the invitation and appreciating their sense of responsibility towards the community.

Colonel Mohammed Al Hosani, deputy director of Social Support Department at Abu Dhabi Police reviewed the Council's strategy and objectives, noting that the Council was the harvest of the best global practices in crime prevention, which proved successful and has achieved excellent results in this framework.

 He concluded his statement, stressing that effective participation of members of the community and its institutions is the key support for the development of police and security work.
