Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior received Colonel Engineer Saif Hamdan Al Kaabi, Director of the Engineering Projects Department in the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters. The meeting was held on the occasion of Al Kaabi acquiring a PhD degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Wolverhampton University, UK; his thesis was titled: Towards Reforming Abu Dhabi to Become a Sustainable Modern City.
His Highness viewed the goals outlined in the thesis, which contained an analysis of the emirate’s current situation with regard to architecture and urban planning as well as the Abu Dhabi Government’s orientation towards making the emirate a sustainable modern city.
The letter also addressed the application of policies and strategies that support the government’s direction in this aspect. His Highness congratulated the thesis author Colonel Dr. Al Kaabi for achieving this distinctive scientific accomplishment.
Colonel Dr. Saif Al Kaabi presented a copy of his thesis to His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and gave his thanks and appreciation to His Highness’ unlimited support to police members of different domains to achieve the highest scientific levels.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations; and Brigadier General Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Police.
