A Jordanian delegation visit Al Mafraq’s minors care section

Brig. Ahmed Mohammed Nekhairah, director of Human Rights Department received a delegation of participants in masters program of police academy of Jordan, headed by Col. Staff Ahmed bani Younis.

Nekhairah, who is also the head of the committee overseeing rehabilitation programs at the Al Mafraq’s minors care section, affirmed keenness of Abu Dhabi Police on the importance of such visits which enhance aspects of cooperation and expertise sharing between the two sisterly countries to develop performance and attain the best standards of excellence.

For his part, Lt. Colonel Ibrahim Al Marzouqi welcomed the visiting delegation and briefed it on the work of the section, including procedures of receiving and releasing minors and the health and social services provided to them. He accompanied the delegation in a tour inside the facilities of the section, including wards, control room, school, gym and the library.

The delegation was impressed with the services and the attention given to minors, praising the keenness of the Minister of Interior on caring for this segment of the society to keep them immune against delinquency.

The visit ended with an exchange of trophies and commemorative gifts.
