As many as 277 speeding vehicles have been seized by radar speed gun from 19-26 of last September on Arabic Gulf Street in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate has affirmed intensifying of traffic enforcement on city roads and highways in Abu Dhabi round the clock by deploying  civilian and police traffic patrol vehicles.

The initiative is part of   the Directorate’s  strategy for  promoting  safety which aims to curb serious offences and their fatal impacts.
 
Director of traffic enforcement at the directorate 1st Lit Abdullah Al Qubaisi who announced the seizure has urged motorists to abide by traffic law, obey speed limits on various roads, avoid using handheld mobile phone while driving, leave enough distance behind other vehicles in front, drive with attention, wear seatbelt, seat children on back seats, and observe stopping at yellow box junctions.
