Workshop at Abu Dhabi Police about Smart Tech Systems

The Information and Telecommunications Technology Department in the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with Microsoft Company, organized a workshop about the smart technological systems related to police work.

Colonel Anwar Abdulla Al Mulla, Director of Information and Telecommunications Technology Department said that the workshop came as a manifestation of the strategy of the ICT department in educating its staff about everything new in this sector, through cooperating with strategic partners.

A group of officials and experts from Microsoft Gulf gave a defining presentation about the modernist technological advancements from Microsoft and its partners.

The workshop reviewed the security protection systems of Microsoft Gulf, and how it handles the protection of its facilities, workers, programs and information. Another presentation discussed solutions for smart search which included the databases of the company and databases available online.

The experts tackled the initiatives and efforts of Microsoft concerning online safe browsing, especially for children.

The experts answered the questions of the participants in the workshop about the various important topics addressed in the lectures.
