The Western Region Police Directorate affiliated with Abu Dhabi Police participated in the second camel beauty contest festival, known as “Mazaynat Al Majahim” currently being held at Ghaythi city.
The Directorate, in coordination with various police agencies, offers services to ensure safety and security for the festival visitors and participants, said Colonel Ujail Ali Al Junaibi, acting director of the Directorate.
Police and traffic patrol vehicles have been intensified to organize traffic at the venue, control has been increased in the crowded areas, mobile workshops to tow broken vehicles have also been made available, and guide sign boards have been posted, he added.
He praised the role of the security committee in organizing the all the events held in the Western Region.
Community police units take part in the festival and offers help to the audience.
