Western Region Traffic intensifies traffic control
on Abu Dhabi – Al Ghuwaifat Road
The Western region Traffic Section has intensified traffic patrols on Abu Dhabi – Al Ghuwaifat Road during Eid Adha holiday, as the road witnesses heavy traffic because families travel to spend Eid holiday with their relatives and large number of people come from the neighboring countries to spend the holiday in the country.
Major Muhsin Bakheet Al Minhali, Head of the Western Region Traffic Section of ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols has urged drivers travelling on Abu Dhabi – Al Ghuwaifat Road to abide by speed limits, use seat belt, leave a distance between vehicles and remove their vehicle from the road in case of breakdowns. Drivers should take some rest if they feel tired before continuing their journey.
Al Minhali has affirmed that no traffic accidents have been reported involving pilgrims traveling by land to Saudi Arabia. This is due to operational efforts made by traffic patrols on different road sectors up to al Ghuwaifat outlet round the clock.
