VIP Protection Advanced Course trainees graduated

 

Lt. Colonel Ahmed ali Thani al Shuhi, Head of Special tasks section at ADP in Al Ain witnessed the graduation ceremony of advanced course on VIP protection. Ten officers, NCOs and personnel attended the training course. He course continued for two weeks during the period from 4 to 15 April 2010. The ceremony took place at the training square of Al Ain special tasks Section.

The trainees received advanced training on protection of VIPs and their processions, terrorism combat, risks assessment and shooting in different positions and at more than one target.

They also received training on self-defence while protecting VIP processions, tactical tricks by use of live ammunition and smoke bombs.

At the end of the ceremony Lt. Colonel Al Shuhi accompanied by Captain Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman Al Hhalaf, Director of Support Services Branch at the Section gave away certificates to the graduates. The ceremony was attended by a number of officers from the Section.
