Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, received earlier at the Ministry’s headquarters a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany headed by Hans Yoakum, parliamentarian undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology.
Al Shaafar welcomed the visiting delegation and conveyed regards of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and stressed keenness of the Ministry of Interior to promote cooperation and coordination in the security areas, between the two countries.
Several issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance existing cooperation in various domains have been discussed.
For his part, head of the delegation expressed his delight at the visit, affirming keenness of the Republic Germany to boost relations and partnerships to the interest of both countries.
The meeting was attended by acting director of Public Relations Brig. Mohammed Saleh Badda, and Lt. Col Dr. Jamal Fares, director of International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior.
