The Ministry of Interior completed the training of 25 officers from the different General Administrations and departments on excellence and creativity. Brigadier General Mansour Ahmad Bin Hamouda, Director General of the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended on Thursday, the graduation ceremony of the “Excellence and Innovation in Management" course, organized by the Officers’ Training Institute.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Ali Al kutbi, Director General of the Police College, alongside a number of Department directors and Heads of divisions at the Police College and the Officers’ Training Institute.

The course focused on developing the knowledge, abilities and skills of the participants, on the tools and modern techniques to instill creativity and excellence, and to achieve the administrative objectives, efficiently and effectively.

The course was implemented as part of the Ministry of Interior’s training plans, based on the police leadership’s attention to police officers and to refining their skills; as an embodiment of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy in this regard.

The course included various programs, such as the methods of training, as well as lectures on the concept of creativity, innovation and administrative creativity; principles and basics of excellence; the cycle and phases of functional creativity, and methods and models of innovative ‘creative thinking’.

At the end of the graduation ceremony, Brigadier Mansour Ahmad Bin Hamoodah; accompanied by Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbi, Lt. Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Al Khuzaimi honored Lt. Colonel Abdullah Abdul Rahman Yusuf, the course’s lecturer; then certificates were distributed to the graduates.
