The Western Region (Al Gharbia) Police Directorate concluded, today, Thursday, its participation in Al Ratab Liwa Festival. Colonel Ajil Ali Abdullah Al Junaibi, Acting Director of the Western Region Police Directorate, said: “This participation shows our keenness to cooperate with all government and community institutions to develop the region and encourage participation with the various entities, as part of the community outreach strategy adopted by Abu Dhabi Police.”
He emphasized the security role played by the Directorate by participating in this festival and other events. He also pointed out to the Directorate’s community role through the community police and the Public Relations Division, to raise awareness among community members and meet their requirements, as per the Directorate’s slogan: ‘We are where the public needs us’.
Colonel Al Junaibi also shed light on the exhibition, organized by the Western Region Police Directorate, which aims to educate the visitors of the Festival. “Visitors were acquainted with the exhibition sections and were introduced to the main police services provided in the different police stations in the region. They were also introduced to the Comprehensive Police Stations and their role in the community,” he continued.
The Western Region Police Directorate also acquainted visitors with the important role played by the public in cooperating with police forces by giving opinions and suggestions on how to develop and improve services, to make them accessible for everyone.
The last day of the Festival witnessed a big turnout of visitors who received gifts and enjoyed musical performances by the Police Music Band, and praised by all.
