A group of students of Amouriya Elementary School in Al Ain visited the Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section of Abu Dhabi Police.
Major Mohsen Saeed Al Mansouri, Chief of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section, in the Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police stressed that such field visits by school children enriches continual traffic awareness, and creates a bridge of fruitful communication between the traffic police and school students. particularly at basic stages to eventually build a comprehensive traffic culture
Upon arrival to the department headquarters, the students were received by Assistant Ahmed Mukhtar Al Bloushi and Policeman Abdallah Sultan Al Nuaimi, from the public relations branch office of the department. They accompanied the students and supervisors, and gave them an overview about traffic officers’ work, traffic patrol tasks, in addition to explaining the duties and work of some of the department branches, such as the Traffic Violations and Precedence Branch. Al Bloushi and Al Nuaimi also educated the young students about the ethics of riding the school bus and sitting correctly inside in order to stay safe in the event of an emergency.
The students who visited the department are among the distinguished students of the school. Moreover, Assistant Ahmed Al Bloushi explained to them the work mechanism and the role of the departments’ Traffic Education Patrol.
At the end of the visit, the Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section distributed souvenirs to students and encouraged them to remain safe.
