A delegation from the Sharjah Police headed by Colonel Abdullah Hameed Taryam, director of Community Police Department visited the Community Police department in Abu Dhabi where he discussed the advanced methods employed by community police in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of expertise-sharing and police cooperation among all police departments across the country.
The delegation met with Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Mehroum, director of community police department in Abu Dhabi who briefed the visitors on the activities carried out by community police. He informed them of the modern advancements and success achieved by community police through presence of foot patrols inside neighborhoods.
Colonel Taryam discussed with bin Mehroum foot patrols experience and community partnerships. All enquires and questions raised by the visiting delegation have been answered.
Police trophy was presented to Colonel Taryam at the end of the visit.
